Because the density of plastic wood material is relatively high and it is somewhat brittle, when fixing the keel of this material, first use an electric drill to make holes, then screw in screws to fix it, instead of nailing it directly, otherwise the material may be bulged and cracked. During the installation process, ordinary woodworking tools are also required. It is best to use labor protection gloves during the construction process. During installation, we recommend using stainless steel fasteners/screws to fix it.
Drainage and expansion issues: The water absorption rate of plastic wood material is ≤1%, and the water absorption size change rate is ≤0.3% in the length direction; ≤0.4% in the width direction; ≤0.5% in the thickness direction; so when installing plastic wood flooring, please leave a corresponding gap (1.5-3mm) between each board to allow for the thermal expansion and contraction of the material in the future.
